Water Resources

In 2016, the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences hired five Regional Specialized Agents with a focus on water resources. These Extension agents have been tasked with creating and delivering water resource education materials. The agents will develop relationships with the Water Management Districts, counties, municipalities, environmental groups, and stakeholders to address area water resource issues. The agents will coordinate a statewide effort to unite successful water related programs that enhance and protect water quality, quantity, and supply.
