Robert (Bob) Hochmuth serves as the Assistant Center Director for the UF/IFAS North Florida Research & Education Center - Suwannee Valley as well as a Regional Specialized Extension Agent for commercial vegetable crops serving the Northeast Extension District of Florida. Bob serves both greenhouse and field vegetable growers.

Regional Specialized Agent, Water Resources

Charles engages extension professionals, producers, elected officials, and the general public in water resource education. Charles actively works with producers to enhance Best Management adoption to protect and conserve water resources in North Central Florida.

Regional Specialized Agent, Rural and Agribusiness Development

Kevin Athearn serves Florida’s Northeast Extension District with applied research and extension programs in agricultural economics, business and marketing. He works with researchers, extension agents, farmers and other stakeholders to improve access to research-based information and enhance the economic viability of agriculture in the region.

BIO

De Broughton provides extension and education for North Florida farmers focusing on the agronomic crops of peanut, corn, soybean and small grains. In collaboration with FDACS and the Suwannee River Water Management District, her programs include nutrient and irrigation scheduling that employ best management practices (BMPs) to keep farming productive while protecting water quality.
